Jazz @ the CAM
A concert series from the Cameron Art Museum and the Cape Fear Jazz Society. In its second season, the seven-part series offers some of the best jazz musicians and genres in the region September 2011 – April 2012 on the first Thursday of the month for your listening (and dancing, if there’s room) pleasure.

September 1: Grenoldo Frazier, pianist, composer and arranger performs a new work, “Old Souls: Southern Soliloquy” plus the music of Louis Jordan
October 6: Frank Bongiorno and Friends, jazz with strings
November 3: Lee Venters and Vermillion Sands, eclectic jazz mix
January 5: El Jaye Johnson & the Port City All Stars, jazz with a funky edge
February 9*: Stardust, a romantic mood to get you ready for Valentine’s Day
March 1: The Wahl Project, bebop and beyond
April 5: Benny Hill Quartet, swinging standards and more
