The Cameron Art Museum is housed in a 42,000 square foot facility designed by the architectural firm of Gwathmey Siegel & Associates (NYC). GROUP TOURS @ CAM

Schedule a guided tour of the Cameron Art Museum by contacting Georgia Mastroieni, Curator of Education, at (910) 395-5999 ext. 1019 or e-mail georgia@cameronartmuseum.com. Tour reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. For every 10 children, one adult chaperone is admitted free of charge. Chaperones are expected to stay with the group at all times and are responsible for ensuring appropriate behavior of the group.



CAM Tours

Take a guided tour of the exhibitions. Trained docents or museum staff provide insight into the works on display and engage visitors in discussion of the works through inquiry based conversation. Tours can be tailored to suit the needs and interests of your group.
$5 per person






CAM & ART Tours

Following a guided tour, enhance the museum experience through exhibition inspired hands-on activities. The museum will be happy to work with you to connect the tour and follow up project with your interests or curriculum.
$8 per person




CAM & CLAY Tours

Take a guided tour of the museum followed by a tour of the Pancoe Art Education Center. Meet our master artist-in-residence Hiroshi Sueyoshi, explore the clay studio and watch a demonstration on the wheel. These tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm. Due to space limitations in the clay studio, groups can be no larger than 15 people at a time. Arrangements for successive visits can be arranged for larger groups.
$8 per person

  • Any special requests regarding your tour (duration, specific focus, etc.)
