January 10. Architects in the Galleries: Charles H. Boney

The final in the series of AIA, Wilmington Chapter informal gallery talks and the last day to view the exhibit "GWATHMEY SIEGEL: Inspiration and Transformation". The ongoing series gives visitors the opportunity to see through an architect's eyes. Charles H. Boney is an award-winning designer with a long-standing interest in architecture as a social instrument of change.

FILM: "In Search of Clarity: The Architecture of Gwathmey Siegel & Associates

Through their firm Gwathmey Siegel & Associates, Charles Gwathmey (1938-2009) and Robert Siegel designed innovative houses and buildings. This 1995 documentary explores the range and depth of their work and includes interviews with architects Philip Johnson and Peter Eisenman and filmmaker Steven Spielberg, who describes how a journey through a Gwathmey Siegel house has the drama of a well-made movie. This is the final program and the last day to view the exhibition "GWATHMEY SIEGEL: Inspiration and Transformation".
